§ 32-1011.01Title 32

Remedies.

If an employer or other person is found to have violated § 32-1010(a)(3), the court or administrative law judge shall, by an order which shall describe with particularity the nature of the violation, award to the employee liquidated damages of not less than $1,000 and not more than $10,000.

Applicability of D.C. Law 20-157: Section 7 of D.C. Law 20-157 provided that the act shall apply as of October 1, 2014, and that the act shall apply to violations occurring after October 1, 2014.
