Definition of terms set forth in acts and resolutions.
For the purposes of any act or resolution of the Council of the District of Columbia, unless specifically provided otherwise: The term “Council” means the Council of the District of Columbia established under § 1-204.01. The term “Mayor” means the Mayor of the District of Columbia established under § 1-204.21. The term “Act” means an Act of the Congress. The term “act” means an act of the Council. The term “District” means the District of Columbia.
